Delete your account
The in-app flow is the fastest route and completes the live-account deletion synchronously.
Delete in the app
- Open Muilu and sign in.
- Open the Account tab and select Delete account.
- Read the first warning and select Confirm.
- At Final confirmation, select Delete permanently.
The app sends DELETE /v1/account. When the server confirms completion, it stops sync, removes session tokens and clears the local Muilu cache. The action cannot be undone.
Request by email
Email muilu@centralfox.online from the address used for the account, with subject “Delete Muilu account”. Include the account email and preferred language. We may ask for limited non-secret information to verify ownership. Never send an OTP, access token or password. After verification, we complete the request within a maximum of 30 days and confirm the result.
What is deleted from the live service
- The account, email identity links, active sessions and personal media owned by the account.
- Favourites, blocks, reports made by the account, device/push records, consent records, business membership links and pending claims tied by database relationships.
- The local app cache after a successful in-app deletion.
What is anonymised or may remain
- Reviews may remain with no author ID and the label “Removed account”.
- Promotions may remain with no author ID.
- Business listings, including public contact/location information, remain because deleting a member account does not delete the listed business.
- A third party’s report aimed at the deleted user may still contain the old internal UUID; event rows may also keep internal UUIDs until their configured pruning. Neither is a public account profile.
- A tombstone event tells synced clients that the account disappeared; its public payload contains no personal data.
Timing and backups
The in-app API deletion runs immediately after final confirmation and returns success only after the live database transaction completes. Email requests: maximum 30 days after identity verification. Database backups are made daily and retained for 14 days; deletion from the live service does not rewrite existing backups, which expire through that rotation.
